Did anyone else have water in their basement after all the rain we had over the weekend? I have a call into Centex because water is coming in from the middle of our basement walls. Just wondering if anyone else had any problems?
We had a similar problem last year. Initially, centex tried to fix the problem by simplying chaulking the crack, but 24 hours later water was coming through the basement wall. Finally, the problem was fixed by a subcontractor hired through centex. The solution involved drilling 4-6 holes along the vertical length of the suspected crack and injecting some kind of ethylene based polymer that is activated with water. Since then we haven't had any problems.
