Refrigerator Filter
The filter on our refrigerator needs replacing. We have the one with the water dispenser in the door. I have looked in the instruction book that came with the refrigerator and cannot find instructions on how to replace the filter. The book only stated to replace the filter when the replace filter light came on and where to purchase a filter but not how to replace it after obtaining a new filter. Any suggestions?

We did this not to long ago and it was fairly straight forward. Assuming all of the water dispensing fridge models are the same, the filter in the middle near the floor - looks a lot like a gas cap. Just turn it and the filter should pop right out and be replaced pretty easily. Good luck!
Bah. Not too long ago, that is. :)
When you purchase your new filter there will be easy instructions with it.
