SURPRISE!!!

If any of you saw the ambulance that was in the neighborhood on thursday the 21st it was because our daughter Kaela made a surprise and unexpected entrance into the world at 10:42 am that morning in our master bedroom. This was a completely unplanned event. My wife went into the last stage of labor at about 9:30 am and we didnt have enough time to make it to the hospital. Little Kaela was delivered by her grandmother and the EMT's arrived shortly after. Just letting everyone know that everything turned out ok. Kaela made it to the U of M in good health and she is 7 pounds 10 oz.

CONGRATULATIONS! Glad everyone's okay - way to step up, Grandma! So, when's the party? :)

Oh my gosh, this neighborhood is almost as good as Wisteria Lane! Congratulations, you guys, and welcome to Kaela!

Matt, don't hold your breath about that party...right now I'm willing to bet that their one and only priority is SLEEP.

I have a 10-month-old son (as well as an almost 10-year-old son), so I'm not too far removed from what y'all are going through right now. If you need any help at all, please don't hesitate to ask!
